Sunday team Leeds City Rover hit top of the Jubilee Premier League with a 2-1 victory away at Belle Isle. They are now 4 points clear of Old Unicorn, whom still have 3 games in hand (2 points for win in Combi Leagues). Stewart Wilsons teams have hit a rich vein of form just at the right time and now have every chance of finishing in top three in this division, in their first season in the top flight. Leeds City Old Boys remain in third in Division Four after a 7-1 hiding at Bramley. Bramley are in second place some nine points ahead of City having played one more game. Promotion however is still a possibility for City, but this reversal will do nothing for their confidence |

Leeds City gained revenge over Horbury Res with a 3-1 home victory at the Memorial Ground on Saturday. After a disappointing defeat 3-1 away just 4 weeks ago to the same opposition, Manager Elliott Sheeran was looking for a response from his team. He got just what the doctor ordered! The question again is, can Horbury play well on a pitch which is flat!! |

Goals form James Hochstrasse and Mitch Cameron gave Leeds City a second draw 2-2 this season against high flying Bardsey. Bardsey have a formidable home record ,they remain undefeated with just two draws in 8 games this season. The division stills looks close and City will feel confident of picking up points on the leaders. This weekend Beeston lost again, this time at home to Sherburn 4-2, who move up to 4th. Boroughbridges good run continued however with an away victory over bottom club Carlton. More information to follow |
